More e-commerce players are now looking for sustainable alternatives and one Singapore-based company is at the top of the game when it comes to providing recyclable and reusable packaging solutions.
Quikwrap Nano, developed by Sealed Air Singapore Pte. Ltd., is a lightweight and compact manual wrapping dispenser. The wrap is made of two parts; the honeycomb wrap and the thin interleaf paper. The expanded honeycomb paper and customisable interleaf work together to provide cushioning when wrapping around products.

Meanwhile, another innovative solution that Sealed Air Singapore released is TemPreserve Insulative Foam Solution. It is a customisable and durable thermal cooler available in a variety of sizes and provides superior insulative performance ideal for protecting medical products and vaccine deliveries with specific temperature requirements. The product has been very helpful particularly during the pandemic where vaccines are being distributed within the required temperature range.
The cooler’s enhanced insulative performance allows for reduced coolant usage that will reduce total cost of ownership and bring additional sustainability benefits. It is also well suited for reuse and can be fabricated either in unibody or knock-down design, enabling easy storage before and after use. These insulative shipping boxes are also qualified through ISTA 7E requirements in an ISTA 20 certified lab and can be used in bulk pharmaceutical shipping applications that require frozen and chilled conditions within specific temperature ranges, like between 2°C and 8°C and between –78°C to –70°C for up to 160 hours.
