The search is on for the leading exporters in the Asian Export Awards 2021
Nominations will close on 29 October 2021.
Due to tightened protocols brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic, exporters across the Asia Pacific region experienced issues such as supply chain disruptions and logistical problems. Companies had to adjust operations and adopt new strategies in order to make sure that their business will thrive amidst the crisis.
With this, the 4th Asian Export Awards is now officially accepting nominations from outstanding export companies with the most innovative products, services, and initiatives.
Nomination is open to two divisions: Large Corporate for companies with group turnover of over US$300m and Local Champion for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with turnover of less than US$300m.
Past winners for the large corporate division include Century Pacific Food Inc, DSM Nutritional Products (Thailand) Ltd, Freedom Foods Group, Nestlé India, Republic Biscuit Corporation, Rodamas Inti Internasional, and Asia Pulp and Paper.
"To gain recognition as a brand and as a corporation, in terms of export excellence, really gives us a big morale boost, as well as I guess an overall feeling of being inspired and motivated to do even better,” said Gregory Banzon, EVP and COO of Century Pacific Food, Inc. “We don't do it really for the award but it is actually an added feather in the cap that some recognition is given for all the work put into by a relatively small Philippine outfit battling it out against the biggest brands globally," he added.
The company won the Large Corporate division trophy in the Canned Good category in last year’s installment of the awards programme.
To be eligible for the award, Asian exporters must enter unique products, services, or initiatives launched over the last 24 calendar months. Products, services, and initiatives that have been launched more than 24 calendar months ago can still be nominated, provided they have undergone recent innovations for improvement.
The nomination period is open until 29 October 2021. Winners will be honoured at the digital awards presentation which will be held in November 2021.
